Everything you need for a merry hunt.
How do I play?
Register your team, read each cookie's clue, visit participating NOMA businesses, and scan the cookie's QR code with the Scan button on your Hunt page.
How is scoring done?
Each of the five cookies is worth 100 points. Find all five for a 100-point bonus — 600 points maximum. Each team can collect each cookie only once.
How are ties broken?
Teams with the same score are ranked by who reached that final score first. Please don't rush — walk safely and be kind to shoppers and staff.
My camera won't work!
You can type the code printed under the QR code instead, or find a NOMA helper who can verify your find.
Who can register?
Anyone! Families can play together as one team. An adult must register for any team that includes children.
What shows on the leaderboard?
Only your team nickname, score and number of cookies. Please choose a family-friendly nickname.
Game rules
- Play fair: no sharing QR codes or photos of codes with other teams.
- Stay on sidewalks, follow traffic signals, and keep children with an adult at all times.
- Be respectful of businesses — don't move, touch or remove cookie displays.
- Scanning a code shows you found it; organizers may review unusual activity and adjust scores.
- Organizers' scoring decisions are final once results are confirmed.
Privacy notice
We collect your team nickname, captain's name, email, and optionally a phone number and team size to run the game, contact winners, and share safety updates on event day.
Only your team nickname is shown publicly. Your contact details are visible only to NOMA Foundation event administrators.
We'll only send you NOMA news and future event information if you separately opt in to marketing. You can ask us to delete your data at any time via nomacolumbia.org.
